Before the development of Nu Venture as a business, a young entrepreneur in Gordon Hulton had passion and love for creating; this allowing him to mature into a skilled carpenter.    With his expertise and the experience of working in numerous leisure camper sectors; Gordon and fellow business partner Trevor Prescott sparked an idea, birthing our amazing business known today as Nu Venture (Wigan) Ltd.

Keeping it all ‘compact’ but ‘roomy’ at the same time; the Nu Rio urges versatility presenting the perfect commuting and living conditions for overnight stays.   This vehicle is suitable for single, double, and family occupants ready to discover the true definition of freedom.   Due to the vehicle’s satisfactory size (see specs) when concerning narrow roads or general car-parks, the Nu Rio has rightfully earned its accolades through the years within the campers community.

Moreover, this product has become a more popular option for customers as it acquires all the relevant facilities a quality motorhome should obtain for a wonderful experience.   Built on a short-wheel base van with 120bhp (manual) or 178bhp (auto transmissions), there is zero lag when driving despite the multiple amenities within cab.

Although the design is bespoke, the typical floorplan includes an end kitchen, a washroom on the offside rear corner, and an adaptable lounge area (see specs).   Nevertheless, do not be deceived by the outer shell of this beauty; the Nu Rio has been designed to perfection with generous array of storage and it is to be enjoyed all year round.

The Nu Rio ‘Micro’ is true to it’s name in respect to being one of our smallest but fun-packed coach-builds.  Although the ‘Micro’ is minute in size in comparison to the “Nu Rio”, this vehicle is just as equipped for your everlasting memorable overnight stays.

Smartly outlined with appropriate storage and sufficient kits, the Micro is primed for a cracking weekender away for two adults, or a small family.   Following the Nu Venture trend of customising bespoke motorhomes for our client’s ideals; the typical Nu Rio Micro design presents an end kitchen including the essentials; a washroom without shower facilities (drivers-side rear – see specs).

In symmetry to our largest coach-build (Nu Rio), the lounge area can be rearranged inclusive of: parallel seats, side dinettes, sofas or single/ double bed etc.   A real “give me” for the Nu Rio Micro is that it is small enough to be driven or parked anywhere on a daily-basis.   Also, in addition to its small-scale nature, obtaining a Nu Rio Micro is a huge benefit when factoring in fuel for this vehicle – You will not be disappointed!

Years back in July 1993, the first Nu Venture motorhome was manufactured, satisfying our customer’s endeavours for a great adventure.   From the joyous reviews and compliments, it was known that these campers would be popular across the U.K. for years to come.   Therefore, Gordon built the team with the addition of his daughter (Deborah Hulton) who is also exuberant when concerning our high-quality vehicles.

Up to date, the business is progressing well and we still remain in the same street in Wigan town.   With strong community ties and being a family run business, Nu Venture has always remained true to its ethos of being travel friendly whilst designing a small 2 berth, bespoke and handcrafted motorhome.
